  • Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen. No outstanding institutional balances or registration blocks.
  • Must have reliable transportation to off-campus worksites (if applicable).
  • Completion of required Dallas College professional development training.

Weekly Work Hours 19.5 Compensation Range H07 Hourly Rate $23.78 Hourly FLSA United States of America (Non-Exempt)

Work Location

All positions are considered on-site roles. After six months of employment, some positions may be eligible to apply for a hybrid work arrangement based on job responsibilities, operational needs, supervisor approval, and Dallas College policy. Academic (Faculty) positions require an on-campus presence, even when teaching online courses, in accordance with state law.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Must be an enrolled student eligible for Federal Work-Study funding.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Demonstrated interest in community service and the mission of the host organization.
  • Ability to adapt to various tasks and learn new skills quickly.
  • Learning Outcomes/Benefits to Students: Students will develop practical skills in non-profit management, community engagement, and public service. They will gain exposure to diverse populations and social issues, enhancing their civic responsibility and professional networking.
Other Information

Work Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours (typically up to 19.5 hours per week), determined in coordination with the site supervisor and student's academic schedule.
