Community School Based Behavioral Health Professional/Mobile Therapist

Join to apply for the Community School Based Behavioral Health Professional/Mobile Therapist role at Beacon Light Behavioral Health System.

Beacon Light Behavioral Health System is seeking a Community and School Based Behavioral Health (CSBBH) Professional/Mobile Therapist responsible for coordinating treatment for their caseload. Duties include providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy directly to clients. Services are delivered face-to-face, child-centered, family-focused, and include family therapy and behavioral management as needed. The therapist will also help families establish healthy community connections and social interactions by linking them to natural and community supports. The goal is to provide strength-based, intensive therapeutic services to children and families outside of traditional provider settings.

Beacon Light has partnered with various school districts in Pennsylvania to offer mental health treatment through a flexible CSBBH model.

Qualifications

Must possess one of the following:

  • Master's degree in a clinical discipline with practicum/internship credits and 2 years' experience in a CASSP system program; OR
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker, with 2 years' experience in a CASSP system; OR
  • Certification as a National Board-Certified Counselor, with 2 years' experience in a CASSP system.

Management experience is preferred. Candidates with an active driver's license and a clear DMV check are preferred. Travel of 25-50% within the community may be required to support appointments and visits.
