Cooper River Assisted Living in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Community Sales Director to lead the sales performance for our senior living community. This on-site role focuses on achieving targeted occupancy and revenue goals by guiding and inspiring local teams to deliver outstanding resident service.
The successful candidate will develop sales strategies, set targets with the Executive Director, monitor performance, and coach staff in customer service, tours, and closing deals.

The primary objective of the role is to achieve targeted sales occupancy and revenue goals. The Community Sales Director plays a crucial role in driving sales success within the community. By providing guidance, support, and inspiration to the local teams, they contribute to achieving targeted sales goals and ensuring long‑term business growth.
Our vibrant Cooper River Assisted Living community is beautifully settled in Mt. Pleasant and is comprised of studio apartments for seniors desiring assisted living. The Community Sales Director will serve on‑site and a successful candidate in this role can expect a base wage of approximately $70,000, plus bonus earning potential.
This position may have supervisory responsibilities that will be given at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field or combination of education and experience preferred. Proven experience as a director of sales or in a similar role, preferably in the same industry or related field. Demonstrated sales closing skills with a consistent record of high occupancy results.
Ability to read technical procedures. Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and families. Demonstrated experience in promoting a high level of customer service and hospitality towards and among all residents, associates, and visitors. Demonstrated communication excellence, verbally and in writing, comfortable presenting to large groups.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Familiarity with sales performance metrics.
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
