Job summary

Erickson Senior Living at Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a team member to help enrich resident life by planning and coordinating activities within a vibrant senior community. You will partner with residents, assist with monthly calendars and communications, and create engaging community events across campus.

Applicants should have at least 3 years in service-related roles, with preferred experience with seniors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in service-related roles.
• Previous experience working with senior citizens is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with residents in the planning, promoting, and coordinating of activities and events in the community.
• Perform preliminary work for monthly calendars.
• Facilitate communication regarding activities among residents and staff.
• Create flyers for events; writing articles for community bulletins.
• Arrange audio/visual equipment with vendors for presentations.
• Serve as the information center for resident inquiries.
