Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Senior Manager of Human Resources to act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, guiding employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and leadership development across the community.

In this highly visible role, you will lead onboarding, develop leadership programs, drive engagement and retention strategies, and ensure compliance with EEOC, FMLA, ADA and OSHA while partnering with Talent

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant human resources experience.
• PHR or SPHR preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and talent development.
• Coach and support managers in navigating complex employee matters and organizational challenges.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to strengthen recruiting strategies and support hiring outcomes.
• Lead onboarding and new employee orientation efforts that create a welcoming and engaging experience.
• Develop and facilitate leadership development programs, training initiatives, and employee workshops.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, communication, and retention strategies.
• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA requirements.
• Support succession planning and leadership pipeline development across the community.
• Coordinate employee events, culture initiatives, and professional development opportunities.
• Utilize data and workforce insights to identify trends and recommend solutions that improve organizational effectiveness.

Compensation

• Commensurate with experience from $90,000 – $100,000 annually, plus eligibility for annual bonus.
