CEC Healthcare in Glen Cove, NY is seeking a Community Residence Supervisor to oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and support residents in achieving independence.

The role emphasizes recovery‑oriented, person‑centered services, on-call rotation, and collaboration to maintain safe, supportive homes within OMH programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Human Services.
  • Minimum of six months of supervisory or management experience.
  • Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, training, and support to residential staff.
  • Ensure residents receive high-quality, recovery-focused, person-centered services.
  • Promote resident engagement, self-determination, and community integration.
  • Monitor service delivery, documentation, and program compliance.
  • Support residents through counseling, behavioral interventions, crisis management, and skill-building services.
  • Assist residents in achieving individualized service plan goals and greater independence.
  • Participate in the program's on-call rotation and assist with overall program operations.
  • Help maintain fiscal accountability, residential standards, and a welcoming home environment.

Community Residence Supervisor (OMH Programs)

Location: Glen Cove, NY

Salary: $33.95 per hour

Hours: Full-Time | Tuesday‑Saturday

Shift: One evening shift required per week (except Wednesdays)

What You'll Do

As Community Residence Supervisor, you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring a safe, supportive, and person‑centered residential environment. You will oversee daily operations, mentor and supervise staff, and help residents develop the skills and confidence needed to maximize independence and community inclusion.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
