Job summary

Railside Assisted Living Center in Michigan is seeking a Community Relations Manager to serve as a Good Will Ambassador for the home. This full-time role focuses on marketing to referral sources and the community to maintain full occupancy.

The position requires strong communication and networking skills, event participation, and a valid driver’s license to attend events. Primary working hours are Monday–Friday with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong social and interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to represent the home to the community and at networking events.
• Experience in residential services, leasing, sales or marketing preferred.
• Positive attitude toward the care of the frail elderly; professional and confidential.
• Must be able to pass the statemandatory criminal background screening.
• Able to legally drive to and from marketing events and opportunities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Schedule

This role is full time and primarily Monday–Friday, business hours, with occasional evening and weekend Manager on Duty responsibilities.

Position Purpose

• A Good Will Ambassador for this living center.

• The Community Relations Manager works continuously in marketing and promoting this ALC to community referral sources, and the community at large toensurethe homeattainsand maintains full occupancy.

Qualifications

• Strong social and interpersonal relationships.

• Desire and ability to professionallyrepresentthe home to the community at large, including at networking events, senior/health fairs and expos (etc.), make presentations and public speaking about this ALC and related topics.

• Word processing and clerical skills, pleasant telephone manner and greeting skills as well as experience in residential services to seniors, leasing,salesor marketing preferred.

• Must have a positive and respectful attitude toward the care of the frail elderly, ability to read, write and carry out directions; maturity to deal effectively with the demands and stresses of the job in a professional and confidential manner.

• Able to legally drive to and from marketing events and opportunities.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

• Must be able to pass thestatemandatory criminal background screening.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Able to stand/sitfor extended periods of time;bend, stoop, turn, twist, squat, kneel, push, pull, reach, and stretch.

• Able toliftupto25 Pounds.

• Able to work on site or at marketing events, not a remote work position.

• Licensed Driver with the ability to drive to appointments as needed.
