Job summary

Railside Assisted Living Center in Michigan seeks a Community Relations Manager to drive marketing, outreach, and community engagement, promoting the home to referral sources and the broader community to sustain occupancy. The role is full-time, primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional evening and weekend Manager on Duty responsibilities.

On-site work only, with opportunities for events and outreach. Pay is based on experience and credentials, with comprehensive benefits outlined in the Employee

Qualifications

• Strong social and interpersonal relationships.
• Desire to professionally represent the home to the community at large, including networking events, health fairs, expos, and presentations.
• Experience in residential services to seniors, leasing, sales or marketing preferred.
• Must communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Able to pass the mandatory criminal background screening.

• The Community Relations Manager works continuously in marketing and promoting Railside Assisted Living Center to community referral sources and the community at large to ensure full occupancy.

Schedule

This role is full time and primarily Monday–Friday, business hours, with occasional evening and weekend Manager on Duty responsibilities.

Position Purpose

• A Good Will Ambassador for this living center.

• The Community Relations Manager works continuously in marketing and promoting this ALC to community referral sources, and the community at large toensurethe homeattainsand maintains full occupancy.

Qualifications

• Strong social and interpersonal relationships.

• Desire and ability to professionallyrepresentthe home to the community at large, including at networking events, senior/health fairs and expos (etc.), make presentations and public speaking about this ALC and related topics.

• Word processing and clerical skills, pleasant telephone manner and greeting skills as well as experience in residential services to seniors, leasing,salesor marketing preferred.

• Must have a positive and respectful attitude toward the care of the frail elderly, ability to read, write and carry out directions; maturity to deal effectively with the demands and stresses of the job in a professional and confidential manner.

• Able to legally drive to and from marketing events and opportunities.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

• Must be able to pass thestatemandatory criminal background screening.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Able to stand/sitfor extended periods of time;bend, stoop, turn, twist, squat, kneel, push, pull, reach, and stretch.

• Able toliftupto25 Pounds.

• Able to work on site or at marketing events, not a remote work position.

• Licensed Driver with the ability to drive to appointments as needed.
