Responsibilities
- Schedule, organize, and conduct tours with prospective residents of independent and assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing.
- Respond to and follow-up with all walk-ins, phone-ins, mail-ins timely and appropriately.
- Create, plan, and implement events with the Sales and Marketing Team and Program Director to attract prospective residents, current leads, and professionals, such as seminars, speakers, themed events, and family nights.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with residents, families, and professional care providers.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all software programs.
- Participate in weekend call coverage in Manager Rotation unless already scheduled otherwise.
- Secure the required number of budgeted move-ins and achieve net gains each month.
- Value each inquiry and treat it with importance.
- Work closely with the Executive Director, Regional Director of Operations, and Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing on the quarterly marketing plan.
- Create and implement community outreach programs to generate referrals and meet sales goals.
- Complete quarterly media planning with current vendors promptly.
- Keep the Executive Director informed of all sales activities daily.
- Maintain the Senior Lifestyle Hot Board/Move-in Move-out board.
- Communicate any special needs of incoming residents to relevant personnel.
- Manage the use of sales tools effectively.
- Consider all alternatives before closing a lead.
- Stay informed of trends, developments, and techniques in the field that impact the product.
- Understand the needs of seniors and the aging process.
- Maintain an active, meaningful waitlist.
- Visit competitors quarterly.
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
- Comply with all policies, city, state, and federal regulations related to residents’ accounts, Medicare, third-party billing, etc.
- Interact professionally with all organizational levels, residents, and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Senior housing or hospitality sales experience preferred.
- Experience in a competitive outside and inside sales environment.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Outgoing, personable, competitive, organized, and self-motivated leader.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- English fluency preferred.
- Resilient to rejection and persistent in pursuit of goals.
- Professional in speech and dress, with a passion for serving seniors.
- Proficient with CRM systems and metrics.
