Oaks Senior Living is currently recruiting an experienced Community Relations Director for one of our communities in Georgia. We are looking for a professional who has a passion for working with seniors and their families, with 3+ years of experience in Senior Living management and leadership. The Management team inspires staff to excel, rewards excellence, and fosters a work environment where everyone is trusted and empowered with a sense of ownership. The Community Relations Director will market the facility by building positive relationships with referral sources and qualified prospects, educating them about Oaks Senior Living's philosophy and services. This role is part of the community's management team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Marketing:
  2. Develop and implement an effective marketing plan, including visiting referral sources, hosting events, placing advertisements, and mailing promotional materials.
  3. Build positive relationships within the surrounding community and with referral sources.
  4. Educate employees on their role in marketing and touring the facility.
  5. Participate in community groups and meetings to foster goodwill and educate about the facility.
  6. Attend and participate in company training for marketing and sales.
  1. Sales:
  2. Maintain up-to-date records of communication with prospective customers and track prospects from initial contact to final decision.
  3. Build trusting relationships with prospects by understanding their needs and presenting the benefits of the residence.
  4. Introduce prospects and their families to staff, residents, and other families, providing opportunities to experience the residence.
  5. Follow-up regularly with prospects to guide them toward making a decision.
  6. Provide regular sales reports to the executive director.
  1. Move-In Process:
  2. Ensure all move-in paperwork is completed and communicated effectively.
  3. Coordinate assessments and inform staff of move-in details.
  4. Assist residents and families through the transition with ongoing communication and reassurance.
  1. General Management:
  2. Supervise caregiving staff, ensuring quality care in line with the community's philosophy and resident rights.
  3. Participate in the Manager-on-Duty rotation and lead by example.
  4. Maintain an open-door policy for staff concerns and grievances.
  5. Respond to on-the-job injuries and other duties as assigned.
  6. Comply with policies, regulations, and ongoing education requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in sales and marketing within a long-term care setting.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn sales programs.
  • Ability to interact effectively with older adults.
  • Knowledge of State Regulations preferred.
  • Must be 21 or older, pass background checks, and meet health and safety requirements.
Physical Job Requirements:
  • Stand/walk up to eight hours, sit up to four hours.
  • Support up to 75 pounds, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Kneel, bend, and reach as needed.
