Job summary

CODA is seeking an Experienced Recovery Mentor in Gresham, OR to provide and coordinate recovery support services in the community. The role focuses on reinforcing treatment goals, linking patients with housing, medical, and social resources, and promoting a recovery-oriented lifestyle.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with CRM/PSS, BLS, and crisis prevention training expected within set timelines. A valid driver’s license for Oregon or Washington is also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CRM or PSS certification within 30 days of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Crisis Prevention training within 90 days of hire.
• A valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in accessing housing, medical and emergency services, and other community resources.
• Assist patients meeting recovery goals.
• Facilitate connection to the recovery community and other supports.
• Teach and model positive recovery behaviors while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Facilitate peer recovery and life skills groups.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with individuals and organizations in the recovery community.
• Document all relevant contacts in the electronic health records system for program reporting.
