WellPower in Denver seeks a psychiatrist to lead and innovate within our community-based behavioral health services. You will conduct evaluations, shape treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care across diverse populations.

Qualifikationen

• MD/DO degree and psychiatric residency completed
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
• Colorado medical license and DEA license eligibility

Aufgaben

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose; prescribe treatment plans including psychotropic medications
• Provide clinical consultation and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Manage psychiatric crises and evaluate individuals for mental health holds
• Prepare involuntary care letters and provide court testimony per 27-10 regulations
• Document thoroughly in the EHR in a timely manner
• Supervise residents, review treatment plans, and support delegated medical services
• Participate in committees, quality initiatives, and program development
• Contribute to grant-funded or specialty programming as assigned
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive, strengths-based care
