Job summary

WellPower - Psychiatric Medical Providers in Denver, CO seeks a full-time psychiatrist to conduct evaluations, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. This role offers a hybrid work opportunity with the majority of work performed on-site.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completed psychiatric residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Current or eligible for Colorado medical license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and prescribe treatments.
• Provide clinical consultations and collaborate with care teams.
• Manage psychiatric crises and evaluate mental health holds.
• Complete documentation in the EHR.
• Supervise residents and review treatment plans.

Education

Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy (MD/DO)

Completion of an approved psychiatric residency (3 years for adult psychiatry or 5 years for child/adolescent psychiatry)

Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry

Current or eligibility for Colorado medical license and DEA license
