Job summary

The Lewis Group of Companies is seeking a Business Manager for the Creekside community in Natomas, CA. You will partner with the General Manager to co-manage property operations, lead and motivate staff, ensure occupancy and budgets, and maintain resident satisfaction.

You’ll oversee vendor relations, financial reporting, and compliance with housing laws while supporting marketing and engagement programs in a 626-home award-winning community.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience with strong supervisory background.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and operations.
• Solid understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; property management software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Leasing, Maintenance, and Groundskeeping staff.
• Develop and oversee community budgets, reports, and bookkeeping.
• Manage vendor contracts, negotiations, and service quality.
• Recruit, motivate, monitor, and reward employees.
• Maintain consistent resident satisfaction through proactive service and problem-solving.
• Support marketing initiatives and community engagement programs.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, landlord/tenant regulations, and company policies.
• Use MS Office daily; OneSite or similar PM software experience is preferred.
