Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a skilled Property Manager in Morgan Hill to oversee day-to-day operations of an apartment community, manage a team, and drive budgeted financial goals. You’ll coordinate leasing, reports, and vendor relations to ensure compliance and high resident satisfaction.

The role requires 4–6 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing and customer service to manage day-to-day operations and financial records.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Meets targeted revenues by setting rent rates, ensuring rent and fees are collected and posted in a timely manner, making financial bank deposits, and preparing and reviewing monthly financial status reports.
• Approves invoices from vendors, contractors, and service providers for payment and ensures certificates of insurance are valid.
• Controls expenditures by staying within the budget and manages petty cash.
• Oversees the lease enforcement process including applications, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and late fee collection.
• Gathers and analyzes market trends to inform short- and long-range marketing and leasing strategies.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and requests promptly and ensures maintenance standards are met.
• Conducts regular property inspections and ensures safety, cleanliness, and appearance of property.
• Supervises staff through hiring, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Assists in managing owner relationships and provides updates on property performance.
• Completes accounting, financial, administrative reports and other duties.
