Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Saint Paul Eastside Corps is seeking a Program Aide to support daily operations of the community center. You will welcome participants, prepare spaces, assist with safety, and help with events and logistics to create a welcoming, inclusive environment.

This part-time role requires a High School diploma, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks. Evening and weekend hours are included, and the center is not remote.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass all background checks.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program Coverage & Check-In: oversee participant check-in/out and maintain records.
• Facility Access & Rental Support: open/close building and monitor rentals.
• Program Setup & Space Reset: prepare spaces and reset after activities.
• Participant Safety: ensure safety protocols and de-escalate issues.
• Equipment Maintenance: care for equipment and report needs.
• Community & Special Event Support: assist with events and logistics.
• Activity Support: lead age-appropriate activities and games.
