Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality Management, Parks & Recreation or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant program management or supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and promote city events and programs.
• Coordinate with staff, vendors and partners to execute events on budget.
• Lead internal cross-functional teams and supervise staff; approve scheduling and performance.
• Develop advertising and communications with the city’s marketing team.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and track revenues/expenses.
