Job summary

Detroit College Access Network (DCAN) seeks a Graduate 313 Program Coordinator to support programs and initiatives aimed at increasing college readiness and access for Detroit students. This part-time role (30 hours) reports to the Graduate 313 Program Director and focuses on coordinating events, outreach, and community partnerships.

The coordinator will assist with planning, scheduling, and delivering a range of activities, including PSAS programming, field trips, and advising office hours,

Qualifications

  • Requires High School Diploma or GED.
  • Pursuing or completed Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of professional or office-based work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Program Managers in planning, coordination, marketing, and execution of Graduate 313 events.
  • Represent DCAN and Graduate 313 at community events and outreach activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, families, and community organizations.
  • Assist with outreach to promote participation in Graduate 313 programs and events.
  • Maintain event calendars and scheduling systems for DCAN hub locations.
  • Manage room reservations and scheduling for the Graduate 313 Community Hub.
