Job summary

Providence is seeking an RN Wellness Coordinator to design and implement programs that promote healthy behaviors and outcomes for employees. You will assess needs, educate and counsel staff on health topics, and evaluate the impact of wellness initiatives on the company.

This onsite role in Lubbock, Texas requires a Texas RN license and BLS certification, with a daytime 8‑hour shift, Monday through Friday; weekend work may be required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Community Programs and Services Coordinator RN - Wellness

RN Wellness Coordinator will design and implement programs that promote healthy behaviors and outcomes for employees. They are responsible for assessing the needs and interest of a population, educating and counseling employees on health topics, and evaluating the impact of wellness programs on a company's performance. In addition, they may help coordinate special events and programs to promote better health in the community. The RN Wellness Coordinator will need to have skills and knowledge in public health, organizational behavior, marketing and managing a population.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Experience in a home/community-based healthcare setting
