Job summary

Covenant Health System is seeking a RN Wellness Coordinator to design and implement programs that promote healthy behaviors and outcomes for employees. You will assess needs, educate and counsel staff on health topics, and evaluate program impact on organizational performance.

The role also includes coordinating wellness events and programs to promote better health in the community, leveraging public health knowledge and population management skills. Onsite work in Lubbock, TX is required.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license required at hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification at hire.
• Experience teaching health education to adults.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.

Community Programs and Services Coordinator RN - Wellness

RN Wellness Coordinator will design and implement programs that promote healthy behaviors and outcomes for employees. They are responsible for assessing the needs and interest of a population, educating and counseling employees on health topics, and evaluating the impact of wellness programs on a company's performance. In addition, they may help coordinate special events and programs to promote better health in the community. The RN Wellness Coordinator will need to have skills and knowledge in public health, organizational behavior, marketing and managing a population.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License


• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association


• Experience teaching health education material to adult populations


• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing


• Experience in a home/community-based healthcare setting
