Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness (WPHW) is growing and seeking a Community Prevention Manager to lead programs serving elders, veterans, families, and tribal communities across the Wabanaki Territories. This role focuses on community-driven, data-informed prevention, wellness, and culturally grounded initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of program management or related experience.
  • Experience supervising staff in tribal/community settings.
  • Experience with grant-funded programs and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for elder, veteran, and community prevention programs.
  • Develop work plans with grant administrative staff and monitor performance.
  • Ensure culturally responsive and trauma-informed program implementation.
  • Oversee grant-funded activities and ensure compliance with funders.
