Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) seeks a Program Coordinator for its Community Prevention Programs in Downtown Boston. You will oversee daily operations, implement evidence-based interventions, and ensure compliance with funder guidelines and program goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in health education or related field and 1–3 years of experience, with strong skills in counseling, outreach, data collection, and collaboration with community partners in Boston.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health education, counseling, social work, or related field.
One to three years of relevant work experience.
Ability to conduct individual education and counseling sessions.
Excellent knowledge of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STI prevention and sexual health.
Knowledge of outreach strategies including street/venue-based outreach and social media.

Responsabilités

Provide daily oversight and monitoring of program activities to ensure fidelity and funding compliance.
Conduct evidence-based group and individual interventions with the target population.
Develop outreach, recruitment and marketing strategies to raise awareness and access to services.
Conduct program evaluation and data collection following the evaluation plan and funder guidelines.
Train and supervise volunteers and staff across venues and social media activities.
Monitor reporting and progress per funding guidelines and submission dates.
Prepare progress reports and assist in grant applications.
