Cohere is seeking a Janitorial Porter for the Kissing Tree Master Community in San Marcos, Texas. The role focuses on keeping the community’s amenities clean and welcoming, while supporting event setups and ensuring safety and appearance across shared spaces.

The position is full-time onsite with shifts including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to a vibrant 55+ community.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, porter, housekeeping, or similar hands-on experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to complete responsibilities with limited supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing community needs.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Clean and Welcoming Spaces by cleaning restrooms, offices, amenity areas, and surfaces.
• Support Community Events by setting up and taking down tables, chairs, equipment, and decorations.
• Help Protect the Community’s Appearance and Safety by addressing spills and reporting hazards.
• Provide Dependable Community Support by completing tasks on time and interacting professionally with residents and vendors.
