Job summary

Union Community Care is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of the Staff Pharmacist. Responsibilities include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Applicants should have recent hospital or retail pharmacy experience, CPR certification, and be proficient with computers. English proficiency is required, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for serving diverse patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
• Experience with 340B preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and strong communication.
• English proficiency required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and restock medications.
• Perform order entry.
• Procure drugs.
• Bill prescriptions.
• Assist in pharmacy activities under licensed pharmacist.
• Follow procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
