Job summary

Union Community Care is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team. You will work under the direction of the Staff Pharmacist to provide excellent service in a hospital/retail setting.

Responsibilities include preparing, delivering, restocking medications, entry of orders, drug procurement, and bill processing while adhering to pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification.
• Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
• Experience with 340B program preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office/ pharmacy software.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; bilingual in Spanish advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and restock medications.
• Perform order entry and procure drugs.
• Bill prescriptions and assist with pharmacy duties.
• Support activities under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Follow written procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in additional duties as assigned.
