• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at various service points of the pharmacy.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Input customer and prescription data into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve medications from inventory as needed.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock medications and maintain an orderly, clean pharmacy.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements as applicable.
