Job summary

Palms Medical Group is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support a licensed pharmacist in our Florida pharmacies. You will assist with filling prescriptions, maintain inventory, and handle patient payments with accuracy.

You will enter insurance details, verify prescriptions, and help ensure compliance with DEA, Board of Pharmacy, and 340B programs. Experience in a retail setting is preferred, and travel to other PMG locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess Florida Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification within 6 months.
• Retail pharmacy experience is preferred and helpful for patient interaction.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and data entry is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in filling prescriptions and managing inventory.
• Enter patient information, prescriptions, and insurance into pharmacy software.
• Handle cash, collect payments, and ensure accurate billing to patients and third parties.
• Support audits and compliance with DEA, Board of Pharmacy, AAAHC, and 340B programs.
