Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board within 6 months of employment is required.
• Minimum of one year retail experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in filling prescriptions and billing to third parties.
• Collect payments from patients and manage inventory.
• Enter patient and insurance information into the pharmacy software.
• Maintain orderly, clean work areas and adhere to policy manuals.
