Job summary

Baptist Health seeks a Community Staff Pharmacist to support the Community Pharmacy Manager, oversee pharmacy operations, and develop staff to optimize patient care. Qualifications

• Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
• PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Community Pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Immunization certification within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and travel to KY sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Community Pharmacy Manager with oversight of pharmacy operations and personnel.
• Supports orientation, training, and development of community staff.
• Ensures compliance with policy, 340B, accrediting bodies, REMS, payers, audits and state/federal regulations.
• Manages claim/invoice reconciliation and controlled substances processes.
• Maintains immunization programs and staff training; ensures proper medication storage and security.
• Coordinates transitions of care and ensures patient-centered, friendly service.
• Performs duties of the Community Pharmacy Manager during absences.
