New Shoe Day in Indiana is seeking a Community Partnerships Manager to steward the partner network, drive project lifecycles, and grow sustained programs across the state. You will manage intake, scoping, delivery-day presence, and ongoing follow-through while building strong, outcomes-driven relationships with schools, shelters, and youth programs.
This role requires entrepreneurial, service-minded leadership, strategic planning for each relationship, and comfortable travel statewide with
New Shoe Day is Indiana’s Shoe Bank, a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit working toward one vision: a shoe-secure Indiana.
Through a central Shoe Bank and a growing network of Shoe Pantries and Shoe Drop projects hosted by schools, shelters, Boys & Girls Clubs, and youth programs, NSD provides new, name-brand footwear to youth across Indiana.
NSD runs more than 100 distribution projects each year, including single-day distributions of up to 3,500 pairs, and is on pace to triple its annual budget this year. The team is intentionally small and building for statewide scale.
The Community Partnerships Manager stewards NSD’s network of Community Partners alongside the Executive Director, who leads partnership strategy and the organization’s most senior relationships.
Every partnership has a lifecycle: a Shoe Drop can become an annual project, an annual project can become a Shoe Pantry, and a pantry can become a permanent program woven into its community. This role is responsible for the health and growth of those partnerships, measured in kids served, partnerships sustained, and communities where shoe insecurity is removed.
This is a builder’s role for someone who treats the partner network like their own business, is obsessive about service and follow-through, and sees where every relationship can go next.
This role includes regular statewide travel, participation in events and distributions with extended periods of standing, and occasional lifting and moving of boxed inventory weighing up to 40 pounds. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
New Shoe Day Foundation, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Employment with NSD is at will.
