Job summary

Deep Centered Mental Health is seeking a Community Outreach Representative to build referral relationships in the Austin market and drive new patient growth. This field-based role focuses on partnering with healthcare providers, practices, and community organizations to expand awareness of our services.

You will conduct regular in-person outreach, track leads, and collaborate with Business Development and Clinical Leadership on growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in community outreach, referral development, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or related community work is preferred.
• Familiarity with Austin healthcare landscape is a plus.

Community Outreach Representative - Austin / Dallas

Background

Deep Centered Mental Health is a growing mental health practice in Texas, providing psychotherapy, psychiatry, and integrative mental health services through a dedicated team of more than 240 clinicians. We are looking for a passionate, personable, and motivated Community Outreach Representative to help us build meaningful relationships within the community, expand awareness of our services, and connect more individuals and families with quality mental health care. Position Overview:

The Community Outreach Representative is responsible for developing and growing referral relationships throughout the Austin market to increase awareness of Deep Centered Mental Health’s services and drive new patient growth. This role is primarily field-based, building relationships with healthcare providers, practices, and community organizations that can become strong referral partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Referral Development & Community Outreach

• Identify and develop new referral sources throughout the Austin market

Growth & Relationship Management

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing referral partners
• Track outreach activity, referral sources, leads, and outcomes
• Meet established outreach, referral development, and growth goals
• Identify new opportunities to expand Deep Centered Mental Health’s presence within the Austin market
• Partner with Business Development, Marketing, and Clinical Leadership on growth initiatives
• Share market feedback, referral trends, and new partnership opportunities with leadership
• Build relationships with healthcare providers, practices, community organizations, and other potential referral partners
• Conduct regular in-person outreach and maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and existing referral partners
• Educate community partners on Deep Centered Mental Health’s services and referral options
• Generate qualified leads and develop relationships into ongoing referral partnerships
• Coordinate meetings between prospective referral partners and internal leadership or clinical teams when appropriate
• Represent Deep Centered Mental Health at community events, networking opportunities, and provider meetings

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in community outreach, referral development, business development, healthcare sales, or a related field preferred
• Mental health, behavioral health, healthcare, or substance use/recovery experience preferred
• TMS knowledge or experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong relationship‑building, communication, and networking skills
• Self‑motivated with strong organization and follow‑through
• Comfortable working toward measurable referral, lead generation, and growth goals
• Knowledge of the Austin healthcare community preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Austin area
