Job summary

The CASCADE Lab in the Department of Epidemiology at the U‑M School of Public Health is seeking a Project Manager to support MI-CARES, SOC: IAL, and related field studies. The role will collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and coordinate with community partners.

The position emphasizes data review, management, geocoding, outreach activities, and engagement with community stakeholders across Michigan, with occasional travel and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent problem solver able to work in a high-functioning team.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with project implementation and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in recruitment, data collection, biospecimen ascertainment, and retention efforts.
• Foster and maintain partnerships across Michigan with community groups and health care institutions.
• Develop community outreach and engagement activities for ongoing and new studies.
• Participate in data review, management, and analysis including geocoding or data acquisition.
• Plan and execute community-wide partnered activities and coordinate with agencies and groups.
• Engage with community advisory boards and maintain stakeholder involvement.
• Other duties as needed.
