Job summary

Phoenix Home Care in Independence, MO is seeking a Community Talent Consultant to engage with schools, hospitals, and local partners to connect great people with meaningful caregiver opportunities. This field-based role goes beyond desk recruiting: you'll visit career fairs, community events, and partner organizations to build relationships and grow Phoenix's talent pipeline.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage your schedule, and take initiative.
• Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, marketing, community outreach, or relationship-based sales is preferred—training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local schools, colleges, hospitals, healthcare organizations, workforce partners, chambers, and community organizations.
• Represent Phoenix at career fairs, hiring events, school events, community activities, networking opportunities, and sponsored events.
• Develop creative ways to introduce Phoenix career opportunities to potential caregivers, clinicians, and other team members.
• Serve as a community ambassador for Phoenix, sharing our culture, mission, career opportunities, and what makes us a great place to work.
• Create and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates through community outreach and relationship building.
• Partner with Phoenix recruiters and hiring leaders to understand current and upcoming hiring needs.
• Generate candidate leads and connect prospective employees with the appropriate recruiter.
• Follow up with interested candidates and guide them through the next steps in the hiring process.
• Identify new community partnerships and outreach opportunities that strengthen Phoenix's talent pipeline.
• Track outreach activity, relationships, events, candidate leads, and results.
• Bring ideas for new recruiting events, partnerships, and creative talent attraction strategies.
• Travel throughout the Independence, MO & Surrounding communities; some evenings and weekends may apply.
