The City of New York is seeking two Heavy Duty Cleaning Liaison staff in Manhattan and Brooklyn to coordinate and attend community-based cleanings for APS clients. You will work to mitigate environmental hazards, liaise with vendors and agencies, and ensure services align with client needs to retain residency in the community.

Competenze

• High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or related activities.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the above qualification.

Mansioni

• Attend heavy-duty cleanings in client homes to mitigate hoarding, clutter, and hazards and evaluate work to ensure needs are met.
• Conduct outreach meetings with APS clients, community-based organizations, stakeholders, and agencies to implement HDC services.
• Collaborate with the primary caseworker to determine the HDC service plan and schedule staff.
• Liaise with community organizations, APS Borough Office, APS Contract Unit, and HDC vendors to coordinate activities.
• Maintain records of service requests, process work orders, and inform the public about APS special services.

Formazione

High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant community work experience
