Job summary

St. Dominic Catholic Church in Denver seeks an Outreach and Development Coordinator to lead parish outreach, manage the SMCCF center for families, and enhance engagement and giving.

You will supervise volunteers, coordinate communications via Flocknote, social media, and the parish website, and work closely with staff to fundraise and support programs.

This full-time role requires strong communication, organization, and bilingual abilities; experience in fundraising is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must demonstrate strong organization and team management skills.
• Must demonstrate high competency with computers, internet apps, and social media; comfortable with Flocknote.
• Must be able to work within a Microsoft 365 environment.
• Must have strong relational and pastoral skills to engage the poor and vulnerable.
• Must possess high personal standards and moral conduct to reflect Catholic faith and Archdiocese Code of Conduct.
• Fluent in English with high facility in Spanish; bilingual preferred.
• Experience in fundraising and development is preferred, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Be a full-time member of the Parish Staff and lead outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate administration of St. Margaret of Castello, OP Center for Families (SMCCF).
• Co-chair the Parish Outreach Committee and liaison to the committee.
• Solicit and coordinate parish volunteers for outreach and fundraising.
• Develop and implement programming for Catholic Social Teaching education.
• Oversee communications infrastructure to engage parishioners and donors.
• Ensure compliance and reporting for the SMCCF and related activities.
