Job summary

YES Communities in Davenport, IA is seeking a Customer‑focused Community Manager to lead daily operations, oversee resident relations, and manage budgets and assets within a vibrant manufactured housing community.

You will recruit and develop a team, drive occupancy through effective marketing and leasing, and coordinate with vendors, cities, and counties. The role requires a valid in‑state driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred property management experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry specific software products.
• Proven ability to adapt to new or unforeseen situations.
• Must obtain or transfer state‑specific licensing within 90 days of employment (in applicable states).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily community operations including evictions, collections, resident relations, budgets and asset protection.
• Recruit, train, manage, and develop team members.
• Conduct regular team meetings to reinforce expectations and growth.
• Oversee marketing, sales, leasing, and turnover of homes to sustain high occupancy.
• Develop relationships with vendors and local authorities; coordinate community events.
• Coordinate with residents to uphold property standards and communicate outcomes to management.
• Travel to company meetings, trainings, and conferences as needed.
• Coordinate new home delivery and warranty follow-ups with manufacturers.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
