Job summary

Kaniksu Community Health in Idaho seeks a licensed Behavioral Health Provider to deliver comprehensive preventive and primary behavioral health services. The role requires maintaining licensure, delivering diagnosis, treatment, referrals, and education in a culturally competent manner within outpatient settings.

The provider will collaborate with a team of professionals, utilize electronic health records, and contribute to improving health outcomes for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Current License in Idaho as a BH Provider.
• Ability to receive clearance through the National Practitioner Database.
• Knowledge of health, illness, wellness and prevention in primary behavioral health care.
• Clinical competence in primary and preventive behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active licensure and participate in continuing education.
• Provide diagnostic, treatment, referral and preventive behavioral health services.
• Ensure culturally competent care centered on the whole person.
• Prescribe or direct treatment per clinical protocols and guidelines.
• Educate patients about behavioral health conditions and preventive care.
• Design and implement care plans to engage patients and families in improving health.
