Qualifications

• Current License in Idaho as a Behavioral Health Provider.
• Ability to receive clearance through the National Practitioner Database.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to be designated a Medicare and Medicaid provider in Idaho.
• FTCA coverage obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active licensure and participate in continuing education to maintain breadth of knowledge in behavioral health.
• Provide primary behavioral health diagnostic, treatment, referral and preventive services.
• Educate individuals in prevention and health promotion.
• Design and implement personalized health care plans to engage patients and families.
• Document encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
• Be cognizant of stressors affecting KCH patients and staff.
