Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Community Support Specialist to deliver community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in Indiana. You will assess, plan, and implement interventions within a strengths-based framework.

You’ll collaborate with families, schools, and clinicians, maintain records, participate in trainings, and contribute to quality improvement. A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of case management and rehabilitation methods related to mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Knowledge of problems encountered by persons with mental health and/or substance use disorders and how to access community resources.
• Knowledge of methods and modalities and related legal requirements and court procedures.
• Ability to problem solve and communicate ideas clearly, in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention implementation.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and stakeholders to develop individualized plans addressing needs and goals.
• Coordinate care with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress; participate in staff training and quality improvement.
