TRIO Community Meals in Rutland, VT is seeking an experienced driver to join our team onsite. You will transport goods daily, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain open communication with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Must have a valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles and a clean driving record; DOT medical card preferred. At least basic customer service skills are required, with a chance to grow within a mission-driven organization.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Transporting materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with all DOT rules and regulations alongside state and city traffic laws.
• Complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment, before and after each trip.
• Keeping open communication with dispatch to ensure notification of any issues or delays on the route.
