Job summary

TRIO Community Meals in Marksville, LA seeks an experienced delivery driver to join our team onsite. You will transport materials daily, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to resolve issues quickly.

Requirements include a valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles and/or a DOT medical card, a clean driving record and strong customer service. At least one year of commercial driving experience is a plus. EOE.

Qualifications

• A valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles and/or a DOT medical card from an approved examiner.
• A clean driving record and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Transporting materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with all DOT rules and regulations alongside state and city traffic laws.
• Complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment, before and after each trip.
• Keeping open communication with dispatch to ensure notification of any issues or delays on the route.
