Wheeler Clinic seeks a MDFR Specialist to work primarily in the community, meeting clients at homes or local locations in CT. The role focuses on caregivers, children, parenting, and family connections, delivering MDFR interventions and coordinating services.

You will engage families weekly, with hybrid in-office presence in Bristol and service across Bristol, New Britain, and Meriden. A bachelor’s degree and bilingual English/Spanish abilities are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field required.
• Experience in substance use treatment or community-based programs preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Fluent English and Spanish communication required.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate services by community professionals involved in care.
• Deliver MDFR in parent/caregiver homes or community settings weekly.
• Assess needs using DCF screening tools and develop Recovery Support Plans.
• Engage parents to improve retention in treatment services.
• Provide access to child development, educational, and medical services.
• Improve parenting, co-parenting, and family communication skills.
• Conduct on-site urine drug testing as required by the model.
• Document clinical activities in Wheeler Clinic records.
