JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Community Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating team members, daily activities, and resources to meet financial and operational goals. They ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and other relevant laws governing multi-family housing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Recruit, oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and manage performance and professional development of team members in accordance with company policies and values.
  2. Resident Satisfaction: Promote community culture, respond promptly to resident concerns, and address service issues to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  3. Team Communication: Conduct daily huddles, meet regularly with team members, share goals, and ensure understanding of their roles.
  4. Sales and Marketing: Supervise sales activities to achieve revenue and occupancy targets, conduct community tours, and organize resident and prospect events.
  5. Community Engagement: Represent the community at events, participate in outreach marketing, and engage with the broader community.
  6. Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyze local market trends, understand the competitive landscape, and develop marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and NOI goals.
  7. Property Maintenance: Conduct community inspections, ensure safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards are met.
  8. Financial Management: Assist in budget development, analyze financial statements, and monitor financial performance.
  9. Lease Enforcement: Conduct inspections, enforce lease terms, and manage eviction processes as necessary.
  10. Owner Relations: Support the Regional Operations Manager with owner communications and community performance updates.
  11. Reporting and Administration: Complete financial and administrative reports, maintain confidentiality, and perform other duties as assigned.
  12. Social Media and Reputation Management: Monitor social media accounts and manage online reputation.
Physical Demands:
  • Stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Travel as needed for property support, training, or meetings.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
