Post Road Management is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to lead residential portfolios across Pennsylvania. You will oversee operations, budgeting, leasing, and resident relations while guiding onsite teams to meet occupancy and financial goals.

The role requires 5+ years of property management experience, strong leadership, proficiency with AppFolio or similar PMS, and a bias for compliance and customer service. A CAM certification is preferred, with an emphasis on LIHTC/HUD familiarity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned communities.

Position Summary

The Community Manager is responsible for the overall operational, financial, and physical performance ofmultiple residential communities. This position provides leadership, training, and operational support to onsite teams, ensuring company standards, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and financial objectives are consistently achieved.

The Community Manager leads by example, drives accountability, and partners with maintenance, regional leadership, and corporate departments to maximize occupancy, revenue, and resident retention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Property Operations
  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned communities.
  • Ensure properties are maintained in accordance with company standards and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor occupancy, leasing performance, delinquency, resident retention, and turnover.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered to residents and prospects.
Financial Management
  • Assist with preparation and management ofannual operating budgets.
  • Monitor monthly financial performance and identify opportunities to improve NOI.
  • Review financial statements, variances, and operating expenses.
  • Approve invoices and ensure timely processing.
  • Maintain collection efforts and minimize delinquency.
  • Budget tracking for all communities.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Assist Post Road Managementwith onboarding and training needs as they arise.
  • Conduct regular performance discussions and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Promote accountability while fostering a positive team culture.
  • Assist with performance improvement plans when necessary

Compliance
