Job summary

YES Communities in Gainesville is seeking a Community Manager-In-Training to learn and lead operations across multiple communities within the region. You will support rent collection, leasing, and resident relations while assisting the Community Manager in financial performance and safety decisions.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, recruiting and developing staff, and building positive relationships with local authorities to ensure a safe, productive community environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• Property management or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Must obtain or transfer state licensing within 90 days where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and support all assigned communities while learning policies and procedures.
• Manage marketing and advertising plans and oversee sales/leasing to maximize occupancy.
• Aid in rent collections, evictions support, and non-compliance notices.
• Professionally resolve resident communications and concerns.
• Provide hands-on leadership and management support to all team members.
• Assist with recruitment, training, and development of staff.
• Create and maintain a positive community environment including events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with cities, municipalities, and counties.
