Job summary

Greystar is seeking a property manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an apartment community, lead a team of staff, and ensure financial and regulatory compliance. The role includes budgeting, rent collection, lease enforcement, and customer service initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 4–6 years of property management experience, with strong communication and leadership skills to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience that demonstrates the application of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service background sufficient to manage the day-to-day operation of an apartment community.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into the development of budget(s) for the property by analyzing financial statements and marketing information.
• Manages rent collection, deposits, and monthly financial status reports.
• Oversees leasing, inspections, notices, evictions, and renewal leases in line with the lease terms.
• Gathers and interprets market trends to inform short- and long-range leasing strategies.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
• Supervises on-site staff, hiring, training, and performance management.
