What the Work Actually Looks Like

Day-to-day, you'll oversee all operational activity at Woodcreek Apartments. That includes managing the application and move-in process, running the approved marketing plan to minimize vacancy, and making sure every new and renewal lease accurately reflects community rules and any applicable addenda. Budget administration is a core responsibility. You'll review operational performance regularly, spot the variances, and recommend corrective actions rather than waiting for a regional manager to flag them first.

Staff leadership is a real part of this job. You'll conduct interviews, onboard new hires, manage performance, and create an environment where your team operates consistently and professionally. For a 70-unit property, that likely means a lean team where each person carries meaningful responsibility, so how you hire and develop people matters a lot.

The schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm. Compensation comes in at $26 to $30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, with quarterly bonus eligibility on top of that.

• 1 or more years managing a conventional multifamily community
• Demonstrated experience with rent collection and delinquency management
• Solid grasp of Fair Housing, Landlord-Tenant law, and OSHA compliance requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across residents, vendors, and regulatory contacts
• Familiarity with property management software and basic accounting systems (Yardi experience is a plus)
• Valid driver's license required
