Related Affordable in Belton, SC is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an affordable housing community. You will lead a team, manage leasing, marketing, and recertifications, and ensure compliance with affordable programs.

You will drive financial performance, maintain strong resident relations, and report on performance while upholding a resident-centered living environment in a well-maintained property.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Expertise in affordable housing programs (Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC, etc.).
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management and accounting principles.
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards (or similar property management software).
• Proven leadership skills with direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and administrative functions.
• Ensure financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquency management.
• Build relationships with residents and manage tenant/landlord relations.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs (HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC, etc.).
• Supervise property maintenance and ensure high-quality service.
• Develop and manage the property's financial budget.
• Prepare reports to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Tackle special projects to enhance the community and drive success.
