The Social Media team at Coinbase is looking for a creative, community-focused Social Media Community Manager to lead engagement across our platforms. You will be the voice of Coinbase, fostering trust and excitement in our global crypto community, and shaping the crypto narrative.

Ideal candidates will balance speed with strategy, excel in dynamic environments, and have a proven track record of building engaging, culturally relevant communities that attract media attention and deepen user engagement. You should be passionate about advancing crypto’s role in transforming the financial system.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and grow Coinbase’s presence on X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
2. Develop and implement community engagement strategies aligned with Coinbase’s brand voice and values.
3. Monitor crypto and Web3 conversations to identify engagement opportunities and inform content creation.
4. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to coordinate efforts and maintain consistency.
5. Create and maintain a content calendar, oversee post approvals, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
6. Analyze engagement metrics, sentiment, and community health, providing insights to leadership regularly.

Qualifications:

1. 4+ years experience as a Social Media Community Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio.
2. Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprinkly, Brandw) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
3. Excellent short-form content writing skills for a crypto audience.
4. Strong storytelling skills across written, verbal, and visual mediums.
5. Proven success in creating social campaigns that attract new audiences and deepen engagement.
6. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
7. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
8. Effective collaboration across multiple teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with crypto products and strong crypto knowledge.
• Experience crafting content for executives and spokespeople.

Compensation & Benefits

Target annual salary ranges from $113,815 to $133,900 USD, including bonus, equity, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
