Job summary

Brookside Properties, Inc. is seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Property Manager to oversee two established LIHTC communities in Portland, TN and White House, TN, totaling 112 apartment homes.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a deep understanding of LIHTC and Fair Housing, and a proven track record in occupancy, collections and financial performance. You will manage audits, vendor relationships and day-to-day operations across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Affordable Housing / LIHTC property management
• Strong understanding of LIHTC and Fair Housing requirements
• Experience with compliance, audits and inspections
• Proven ability to manage occupancy, collections and financial performance
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills
• Experience managing vendors, maintenance operations and property condition
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of both communities
• Maintain strong occupancy, leasing and collection performance
• Ensure ongoing LIHTC and Affordable Housing compliance
• Prepare for and manage audits, inspections and required reporting
• Build positive resident relationships and support retention efforts
• Oversee maintenance, vendors and overall property condition
• Manage budgets, expenses and financial performance
• Lead and support on-site team members

Brookside Properties is seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Property Manager to oversee two established communities in Portland and White House, TN, totaling 112 apartment homes.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on property management professional with strong LIHTC experience who enjoys a smaller, multisite portfolio and takes pride in compliance, resident satisfaction, and strong day-to-day operations.
